Alix Shapiro, a longtime Greenpoint resident, is the owner of Cheeky Skincare & Waxing. She has been a New York State Licensed Esthetician for 10 years. Alix takes a holistic approach to her clients' skin getting to know them and their lifestyle in order to give them the best facial treatment plan to suit their needs.  She prioritizes using high quality and effective products and modalities in the treatment room, with a blend of both modern and ancient practices, providing clients with the best facial for them.

While attending esthetician school, Alix unexpectedly fell in love with waxing and has spent years perfecting and specializing in Brazilian and bikini waxing and eyebrow waxing and tinting. She has an eye for creating a beautiful, natural eyebrow, and can guide you through the process of growing your brows out so they can reach their “fullest” potential!
