Alix is the owner of Cheeky Skincare & Waxing, and is a long time Greenpoint resident, and native New Yorker.  She has been a New York State Licensed Esthetician for 12 years. Alix takes a holistic approach to her clients' skin getting to know them and their lifestyle in order to give them the best facial treatment plan to suit their needs.  She prioritizes using high quality and effective products and modalities in the treatment room, with a blend of both modern and ancient practices, providing clients with a customized treatment. She believes in simplified skincare routines, and nurturing skin from the inside out.

While attending esthetician school, Alix unexpectedly fell in love with waxing and has spent years perfecting and specializing in brow shaping and brazilian/bikini waxing. She has an eye for creating a beautiful, natural brow, and can guide you through the process of growing your brows out so they can reach their “fullest” potential!
